Our cute, terraced cottage might be small but is big on character & right in the heart of Morriston village, just a 13 minute drive to the City Centre. Morriston Hospital and the Liberty Stadium (for a game or concert) Morriston has a village feel with local shops. We are on hand if you need us but like to give our guests space to explore Slate cottage is a one bedroom house with large living/dining room and kitchen on the ground floor and a double bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. We have gas central heating throughout the cottage which makes it nice and cosy! We also have a single day bed in the living room for an extra guest or child. The small kitchen has an electric hob and oven, microwave, washing machine and fridge. Plates, crockery, cutlery and glasses are all provided as well as tea towels, washing up liquid and washing powder. Recycling area is under the sink and pots, pans and utensils are also located in the cupboards. The back door leads out the small (tiny!) enclosed rear patio. The bedroom is upstairs with a double bed which always has fresh sheets and pillows. There is ample hanging & draw space, the tiny bathroom has a bath with shower over, fresh towels are provided along with shampoo, shower gel, toilet rolls and towels. WiFi is located in the living room for password on the rear of the box There is on street parking available but please read signs The whole cottage is yours to enjoy. We also have a small space to sit at the back of the flat just off the kitchen We offer a self check in with a key safe next to the front door. We will message you, usually before 2pm on the day of arrival to give you the code for your stay. We can be contacted if you have any queries and can usually be with you quickly. We are close to the village shops where they bake fresh bread daily. There are numerous cafes on the main street and we are close to the City Centre. So if you like a quiet area but also like to visit the City this could be the place for you! The stadium is close by for football and rugby and also concerts and gigs. If you venture to the stadium try Rossi's Fish and Chips across the road! You can try your hand at Afon Forest Park Trails great for an early morning cycle! If you like walking you can access the local canals and either walk towards the city or follow the opposite direction towards Clydach and Pontardawe. Are you a fan of football or rugby? The Liberty Stadium is within a short drive, the atmosphere at the ground is amazing! You will find the bus stop on the main road of Morriston at the bottom of our street. You can also access local taxi firms on this street.
